Here is more detailed information of the different species of
fish that I keep. All of these fish are great beginner fish (you know,
since I too am a beginner) and will do well in a range of water conditions.

Zebra Danios:
-
Latin Name:
Brachydanio rerio
-
Water pH / Temperature:
6.5-7.2 / 76-82 deg. F.
-
Feeding:
Flakes, brine shrimp
-
Max. Size:
3"
-
Notes:
A great schooling fish (I'd recommend no less then six if you
have room for them). These guys wouldn't hurt a fly. Not the
brightest of fish, but very entertaining to watch swim around.
For example, hold a cup in the tank, and watch how many actually swim into
it!
